Record Google Meet sessions straight from your browser. No mic permission. No buttons to press.

- Open the Tamloot extension on the Chrome Web Store
- Click "Add to Chrome", then "Add extension"
2. Pin the Extension
Keep Tamloot one click away:
- Click the puzzle piece icon in the Chrome toolbar
- Hit the pin next to Tamloot
3. Sign In
The extension uses your Tamloot dashboard account:
- Click the Tamloot icon
- Hit "Sign in via Tamloot Dashboard"
- Finish sign-in (Google or email) — the extension picks up your session automatically
Sign in once. You're set.
4. Record Your Session
Recording runs itself. Join a Google Meet and the extension starts the moment the room loads. A red "Recording" badge confirms it's live.
Leave the meeting and recording stops. Audio uploads in the background — close the tab, close Chrome, it picks back up on next launch.
Minutes later, your session lands in the dashboard with summary, themes, action items, and notes ready.
Prefer manual control? Toggle Auto-record off in the popup, then hit "Start Recording" on any Meet tab.
Tips
- No mic permission. Audio is captured straight from Google Meet's streams.
- Google Meet only (
meet.google.com/xxx-xxx-xxx) — active rooms, not the landing page. - Switch tabs freely. Recording keeps running in the background.
- Manual mode: toggle Auto-record off to start each one yourself.
- Signed out? Open the popup and sign in again via the dashboard.
