Recording Sessions

Recording Sessions

Tamloot records your conversations wherever they happen — online, in person, or from a file you already have. Pick the one method that matches how you usually meet. You only need one.

In the dashboard, the Recording Tools button at the bottom of the sidebar gathers every install link and option in one place. The how to start page walks through the same setup.

Online sessions

Google Meet → install the Chrome extension.

Zoom, Teams, Slack huddles → install the desktop app. One install covers every meeting tool running on your computer, Google Meet included — so you don't need both the extension and the desktop app.

Both detect your calls and start recording on their own. Once installed, there's nothing to press.

No bot joins your meetings. The extension and desktop app record quietly from your side, so the people you work with see only you.

In-person sessions

Record face-to-face conversations with the iOS app or straight from your browser in the dashboard. If you'd rather record on another device, upload the audio file afterward.

After recording

Every method lands in the same place:

  1. Transcription — audio is transcribed automatically, usually within a few minutes
  2. AI notes — summary, key themes, action items, and professional notes
  3. Sessions — everything appears in your dashboard under Sessions

The desktop app skips very short recordings — roughly under 20 seconds — so a quick test clip there won't create a session.
