# The Dashboard

After signing in at [app.tamloot.cc](https://app.tamloot.cc), the dashboard is your home base — today's schedule, your next session, and a quick way to start recording.

---

## Quick Actions

Two buttons at the top start a session right now:

- **In-Person** — Record a face-to-face conversation through your device's microphone
- **Upload** — Import an audio file you already have

For online sessions, recording happens automatically once you've installed the Chrome extension or the desktop app — there's nothing to click here.

---

## Next Session

Your upcoming session sits front and center, with the contact's name, date, and time. Click it to open the session.

---

## Practice Stats

Three numbers give you a snapshot:

- **Total Contacts** — the people you work with
- **Total Sessions** — sessions recorded
- **Upcoming Sessions** — scheduled ahead

Click any of them to jump to the relevant page.

---

## Today's Prep

When you have sessions scheduled for today, this section helps you get ready:

- **Today's Schedule** — all of today's sessions with names, times, and status. You can assign a contact to an unassigned session right from here.
- **AI Meeting Prep** — for people you've met before, Tamloot prepares a brief from your previous sessions. Click a prep note to open that session.

If you have no sessions today, this section doesn't appear.

---

## Navigation

The sidebar covers everything else:

- **Dashboard** — home base (you're here)
- **Calendar** — your sessions in month or week view; syncs with Google Calendar
- **Sessions** — every recorded and scheduled session, searchable and filterable
- **Tasks** — action items pulled out of your sessions
- **Contacts** — the people you work with, and their session history
- **AI Assistant** — ask questions about your sessions, notes, and patterns
- **Connectors** — connect Google, Zoom, and other tools
- **Settings** — profile, business details, language, appearance, memories, tags, and billing

At the bottom, **Recording Tools** gathers every install link and recording option in one place — useful when you're setting up a new device.
